Introduction to building interactive websites with PHP (2006-2-23)

PHP is a popular open-source interpreted scripting language with syntax similar to C. Andrey will introduce the concept and advantages of building interactive web sites or web applications with PHP, along with the PHP language itself. Simple examples will be used to illustrate PHP features and to get you started with PHP scripting for your own projects. Effective debugging methods and tools for your projects (2005-10-19)

This talk presents several colloquial debugging techniques and contrasts them with one more effective: "debugging by thinking." It also presents the use of robust debugging tools such as GDB for interactive debugging and Valgrind for finding memory leaks.
